Description First Franklin Financial Corporation has an opening for a Senior Marketing Manager that will establish, implement and manage a customer and sales driven marketing effort and extend the corporate marketing function to the field This individual will report to the Senior Vice President of Marketing and be responsible for leading the competitive positioning, marketing communications and marketing collateral and support for the sales organization. He/She will develop integrated marketing program plans, as well as guide the execution of these plans to help drive sales objectives and goals. The ideal candidate will bring industry, strategic, and tactical expertise to deliver the mix of demand creation programs that will most effectively drive new leads and increase customer retention and loyalty. Primary focus areas include demand generation programs, tradeshows and events, marketing/sales collateral and email communications.





MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:



· Lead the development and execution of communications programs and outbound marketing activities to increase awareness and recognition of the company's leadership position

· Ensuring the flawless execution of all programs and the highest level of responsiveness to the sales organization

· Hands-on involvement in implementing marketing campaigns and providing detailed closed-loop reporting

· Partner proactively with the field to identify customer segments and marketing opportunities

· Direct and partner with the creative team to ensure creative message execution is consistent with the brand and is relevant to target audience

· Working closely with product marketing and national sales group to ensure the effective delivery of sales tools to the field organization

· Develop a measurement plan to report program results

· Manage and mentor staff. Manage goals and performance reviews in accordance with established company policies





SKILLS PREFERRED:



· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field with at least 8 years experience in a corporate Marketing setting.

· Excellent presentation and writing skills and comfort dealing with all levels management and functional group within an organization.

· Ability to see big picture while effectively managing details and to identify critical issues and gather and lead resources to produce a rapid and appropriate resolution

· Strong project management skills and ability to drive key projects to the finish.

· Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and perform under pressure/deadlines.

· Previous mortgage or financial services industry experience an asset

· Ability to travel domestically (10 to 20%).
