ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Broad based and extensive experience in electronic design focused on systems concept, analysis, design, and troubleshooting. Board-level design includes both analog and digital circuits. Frequently solve and troubleshoot projects that contain serious design obsolescence or manufacturing problems.
SKILLS
Systems Design
· Generate systems concepts, analyses and specifications for industrial measurement, instrumentation, telecommunications, consumer, computers, medical devices and automatic functional testers.
Circuit Design Board Level Implementations
· Analog: Design wide BW, low noise, amps, signal filters, A to D and D to A converters, and transducer signal interfaces. Solve signal integrity problems. Analyze problems in mixed analog and digital circuits. Resolve electrical noise and circuit instability problems.
· Microprocessor System and Interface Electronics: Design circuits using Atmel AVR, PIC, Intel and Motorola families of microprocessors and embedded microcontrollers. Design DSP circuits from TI and Analog Devices. Generate embedded control code.
· Digital: Design digital logic circuits for telecommunications, including fiber optic and RF. Design FPGAs and numerous bus interfaces. Perform critical timing analyses.
Tools: Orcad, PADS-PCB, SPICE, ICAPS, Advanced Excel, MS Project
Programming Languages: Recent knowledge of Actel Tools and Altera MaxPlus, using Altera AHDL and experience with Verilog HDL. Working knowledge of Assembly, C, Basic, HTML and specialized proprietary processor languages
