Primary Job Responsibilities

Want to help think through the multitudes of opportunities at PayPal’s feet? We are looking for the perfect blend of strategist and product manager to help us do just that, to infuse their deep product knowledge with a keen understanding of our key business drivers and tradeoffs. This role is for a group manager, and job responsibilities will include:

• Setting a holistic vision across the PayPal Product
• Applies insights from payments, technology, and user trends to PayPal product strategy
• Driving strategic change across PayPal and eBay Inc.
• Defining priorities/roadmap for strategic research projects, and ensuring their success/results
• Building, managing, and developing team of individual contributors
• Develop innate understanding of PayPal product and its impact on business fundamentals

Job Requirements

• 4+ years experience in web development, including DHTML, JavaScript and CSS.
• 3+ years experience with the software development cycle: product specification, design, implementation, qa, release
• 2+ years experience with XML/XSL or equivalent
• Experience building easy to understand user interfaces for applications
• Excellent communication skills with both non-technical designers and software engineers.
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Design, or related discipline
• Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver in a fast paced multi-project environment
• Experience with source control systems (Rational ClearCase) and bug management (RationaI ClearQuest) or other similar enterprise tools a plus.
• Experience in localization a plus.

Education: Masters or Equivalent
