RENAISSANCE CLUBSPORT
The Bay Areas premier resort style Hotel & Sports Fitness club is seeking an experienced Spa Director. Renaissance ClubSport features an upscale Four Diamond boutique hotel, 75k sq. ft. Sports Fitness Club, Day Spa, Fusion Bistro and Wet Bar.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS-
· Staff hiring, supervision, scheduling, training and development
· Overall presentation of Spa: menu of services, staff appearance,
professionalism, and service skills, spa appearance, cleanliness, etc.
· Meet or outperform Spa budget for revenues, labor costs and direct costs
· Meet or exceed scoring expectations for Facility and Member Service
Walkthroughs, Core Value Quick Checks, and Spa Quarterly Audits
· Ensure all staff know and understand RCS standards for walkthroughs,
quick checks and audits, and follow them
· Ensure all LSI Human Resources policies and employment practices are
followed in the Spa department
· Ensure all codes/requirements of OSHA/OLCC, Health and Fire Departments
relating to the Spa operation are met
· Ensure all IRS regulations for defining independent contractors are met
(if applicable)
· Design, development, pricing of Spa services
· Vendor and product selection, pricing, stocking, and merchandising of
Spa and boutique retail products (with Spa Desk Manager)
· Internal and external marketing of spa services and products
· Cost control and inventory management
· Build referral business and client base
· Spotless front and back of house
· Produce daily checklists for opening and closing procedures
· Ensure all spa equipment is properly maintained, and promptly repaired
when needed
· Ensure all needed supplies (towels, robes, treatment supplies, etc.)
are kept fully stocked
· Perform annual budget preparation for Spa department
· Handle and resolve all customer issues and concerns relating to Spa
· Maintain a working relationship with Spa Directors in other LSI
locations to co-develop services and promotions and to cooperate in
group purchasing
· Other responsibilities or projects as assigned by the Assistant General
Manager
