Hi there,
I've got a cool black 56 cm soul cycles "monk" cyclocross bike for sale. It and a lot of the parts are barely used. I built it in the fall and rode it to work about 12 times. It's in super shape, with a lot of good parts, and would be a great commuter, touring bike, or inexpensive cyclocross bike. It's got disc brake tabs too, so it's a pretty flexbile bike, and you could put a flat bar on it with disc wheels (700c or 26in) and have a great urban bike.
Here are the parts - (new means new when I built it):
aluminum frame and fork, pretty light. top tube is about 57cm. has disc brake, fender, and water bottle braze-ons.
new wtb (wilderness trail bikes) headset
american classic seat post
new wtb rear hub (with grease guard), sun rim, 135mm spacing
ultegra/mavic front wheel (think it has DB spokes and alloy nips)
new airborne stem (110cm) and handlebar (44cm), oversized.
new carbon fiber look gel handlebar tape
new tektro aero brake levers
new radius cyclocross cantilever brakes
new carbon fiber headset spacers
new shimano cartridge bottom bracket
new tracer black single ring crankset with dual chainguardsk, 44t chainring
new wtb or sdg seat (not the one pictured)
tires: michelin cyclocross rear, semi-slick with reflective sidewalls, continental twister pro (folding) front.
shimano 600 (pre-ultegra) rear derailleur
8 spd cassette 11-28
old, vintage, reliable retro suntour barcon shifter, friction
pedals - none, but have a pair or ritchey spd's I'd throw in for $20.
hmm. what else? price. I'm asking $490 or best offer, cash. The only reason I'm selling is my fiancee is moving in and I need space and money for a wedding.
the bike is great, strong, durable, and if you care, very black. the only non-black item is really the seat post, which is easy to change.
please come and give this bike a new home.
