Here's a review on the TV for those interested:
The Sony KV-36FS12 is a 36-inch flat-display Trinitron WEGA TV that offers a sharp, clear picture in an attractive, modernistic case. The clarity of the picture derives from the use of a 3-line digital comb filter, scan velocity modulation, Dynamic Focus circuitry, Dynamic Picture processor, vertical aperture compensation, and auto white balance. Magnetic Quadra Pole adds to the quality of the images by enhancing sharpness and corner-to-corner focus. You can set the color temperature to cool, neutral, or warm, depending on your color preferences and the types of shows you generally watch.
The KV-36FS12 has twin five-watt stereo speakers located below the screen, with DBX noise reduction, Matrix Surround sound, and an MTS decoder to improve the sound quality. This set is equipped to receive a secondary audio program (SAP), which is useful for foreign language broadcasts, along with closed captioning, which comes in handy for hearing impaired viewers or when you need to keep the sound down.
Channel fix makes life a lot simpler if you use a cable box or satellite receiver, permitting you to set and keep the TV on the correct access channel. Among this set's convenience features are auto mute; express tuning, which locates all stations that come in well on the set; Speed Surf, an ideal feature for chronic channel surfers; Freeze Memo, which freezes whatever is on the screen with a single key; channel labeling; a two-event timer; a clock that can be set automatically with XDS service; closed captioning; and a sleep timer that can be set for anywhere from 15 to 90 minutes. The on-screen programming is clear and easy to use, with bright graphics and simple commands.
Front A/V inputs make it easy to hook up video games or camcorders, and rear inputs and outputs are set up to receive programming from a satellite receiver or DVD player and to send audio output through a home theater or stereo system. The universal remote has all the controls necessary to handle cable, a VCR, a digital satellite hookup, or a DVD player. The KV-36FS12 also has a small footprint, making it an ideal set in cramped quarters.
I am asking for $500. If interested or if you would like some pictures, email me at krazykap2001@sbcglobal.net or call met at 408-309-8844. Thanks
