The Software Release Engineer candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the deployment process used within the Engineering Group at HomeGain. Will work closely with project management, software development, QA and operations teams to refine processes and resolve issues in building, releasing, testing, deploying, updating, and monitoring HomeGain’s applications across multiple environments. Serve as central coordination point for all changes to the web site.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Manage the integration, QA, admin and production environments. Work with developers and operations staff to ensure that these environments are properly setup and configured for each deployed application.
· Participate in code troubleshooting and follow the deployment process end-to-end.
· Work closely with developers to manage releases through all phases of development, testing, deployment and operations.
· Assist management of a source code control system.
· Enhance and maintain the application build and deployment processes.
· Troubleshoot and resolve any build or deployment problems.
· Diagnose broken builds and troubleshoot test environment issues.
· Administer the Team Track workflow tool, including adding and maintaining process flows
Required
· Minimum of 2 years direct build and release management experience in a web environment
· Good working knowledge of network and system administration
· 2 Years experience working with major application server software
· 3+ Years of Internet / E-Commerce application development experience
· Hands-on experience performing configuration management for multiple projects involving simultaneous development
· Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and the controls, and audits that take place at each step
· Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
· Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
· Detail oriented, self-motivated
· Experienced working in a fast-paced environment meeting project deadlines and customer requirements.
· Experience with CVS in addition to shell scripting
