Software Maintenance Engineer

Title Software Maintenance Engineer
Category Cars & Trucks, Etc. : Foreign : Toyota
Created 03/15/06
Description After a few years absence I am looking to get back into the software development arena. What better way to reacquaint one's self with new technologies and methodologies than through code maintenance.

I have many years past experience and consider myself to be an above average developer. However, I do admit that my skills are a little rusty, but the basics of good code development have not changed. I have good debugging skills, and I am very skilled at reading others code and understanding what they were trying to accomplish.

I think that I would be an excellant hire, with the potential for much value added. Early on in my career a boss told me, "there are only so many way to twiddle bits", I still think he was nuts on. Although there are many new software interfaces, and third party packages, the basics have not changed.

Below is a copy of my resume. I hope that we can discuss further how I may become part of your team. I think the time you spend with me will be well spent.

Sincerley,
John Erle
