The GridScope Service Management Framework empowers enterprises with visibility, flexibility, and accountability over their business processes. Worked on Script Execution project that added ability to execute an ad hoc system/shell scripts by administrator using GridScope console. Wrote software using Java, JSP, and Struts for Policy Management used for specifying SLA policies (based on service context and content) that are enforced at runtime. Enhanced the system in collaboration with the company’s founder.
Silver Spring Networks, Inc., San Mateo, CA 2005
Software Engineering Intern
Silver Spring Networks (www.silverspringnetworks.com) develops standards-based networked systems for residential utility monitoring and control for clients such as PG&E. Wrote UI software in PHP to display residential meter readings and to interact with a utility database. Enhanced utility network applications that provide support for meter reading via schedules across a variety of gas, water, and electric meters and enabled the efficient and verifiable collection, management and analysis of consumption, time of use and interval data, meter events, and meter status logs. Worked closely with UI programmers, UI designer, and database team to successfully meet the scheduled deadline for release of the product. Used tools including: Zend Studio for PHP, TortoiseCVS revision control system, VMWare emulator, Toad for Oracle.
