Proposal Mgmt - All details of proposals are stored under sector wise. Each proposal has several stages before it reaches the final approved stages. Necessary parameters have to be met before it moves from one stage to another. Project Description
Net Store - This application helps in storing the web pages directly to KM system. Employees may find articles related to their work or want to refer later or might be useful to organization. In such cases they simply download the entire web page and store it at a single click of a button. This downloaded articles classified category wise. Specialty lies in downloading images also found in that web page. Other features include list articles, sort, group, filter and search.
Task Component - This application is built as a common reusable component. This component is like a ‘sticky note’ we normally use to remind things. It accepts task name, description, task date, when & how to remind, when & how to notify either to user or to his/her manager.
External News Grabber - This application retrieves news from External News Servers; organize them in a structured manner. News is retrieved either as XML or RSS format. Admin can configure SUBSCRIPTION newsletters, set how many news headlines can be retrieved per category per news server and also frequency to retrieve the news. Daemon will run periodically to fetch the contents and store them in an organized manner. Other features include list news feed/newsletter based on a category, sort, group, filter and search.
Doc Mgmt - This application helps employees to share documents across the organization. Documents are categorized accordingly to organizational needs. Accesses to these categories are role and group based. Hence managers not only can read/edit documents; they can also delete documents posted by their juniors. Attached files (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat) will be automatically converted to HTML format eliminating need for third party software’s installed in all machines. Other features include owners can share or store docs as private, list documents under a category, sort, group, filter and search.
