LaStone is a skilled style of body work with it's own trade mark. It is not some fluffy spa attempt at being different. Both hot and cold stones are massaged into the body (not at the same time and not senselessly) in order to expedite the body's healing from stress and deep tension. I use basalt stones and jade for the hot rock portion and sardonyx, jade, and marble for the cold stone portion. This is a therapy whose healing effects become more and more evident to the recipient for 3 to 5 days after the treatment has taken place. It is a unique and worthwhile experience. Many clients switch to stone massage and lose interest in bare hands.
