Firstly. I am from Michigan. I am posting in CA simply because the traffic passing through the "for sale" area in this leg of C.L is in the hundred thousands, While Detroit sits at around ten thousand. My fiancé’s Parents live in Ca, We make it there pretty often.
Secondly. Under no circumstances EVER will I agree to a transaction that involves a third party. No email confirmations telling me that the funds are being held until I ship the item. Forget it. You'll be wasting your time. Nothing will be sent until the item has been paid for. Generally that’s the way buying and selling works.
Third. Of course I do not object to you seeing the item up-close and personal, however, I am a woman and I keep hearing that this stuff is worth allot more than I think...increasing chances of thievery. My fiancé works in law enforcement and I have learned that the most dangerous predators find victims online. So I would have to arrange a police civil stand by. Yes that can take a long time 3, or 4 hours, and in some cases more, But it is an issue about safety, I will not meet otherwise.
Fourth. I will not accept Paypal. Yes I have it, but the fees would be massive. I would also insist on waiting until the funds made it safely out of paypal and into my account before sending a thing. I use paypal primarily for buying, I'm not sure how using it for selling works, So I won't do it.
Now. My dead beat father Died about 7 months ago. He did nothing for me during his life. He did nothing but cause grief and never supplied me with an apology, Not even before his death.
As the only living Heir, I got the pleasure of inheriting all of his crap. The lawyers assure me it is not "crap" and in fact "worth allot of money and is also something my dad put his heart and soul into during his life"...
Big deal, maybe he should have focused more on the living instead of this material meaningless bullshit...Things unable to show love.
No offense to any of you, collecting is fine, a great hobby, and a good passion but not when you take "pride" in it; only to ignore your only child for 20+ years....Please ignore my bitter ramblings....
I don’t care exactly what it's worth. I don’t care if it's worth 30 grand and I get half. Maybe getting rid of his prized collection will give me some closure, and sooth my animosity.
In this ad, up for sale is a Jersey signed by “Brett Favre” of the Green Bay Packers. Please forgive me. I am definitely not sports savvy….and don’t really know how to make this more appealing with words. So I’ll just figure that the jersey and other related items will speak for themselves. The photo here is a scanned photo of the one my father had stored along with the COA and the item itself. There is additional paperwork describing the jersey, But due to my ignorance when it comes to things of this nature, I find myself confused when looking through it, although I will include everything my father had on the piece to the buyer. The jersey is in good condition. Currently it is stored along with all items pertaining to it in an airtight bag. I have not removed it from the protective way it was stored. The photo was attached to the outside. You will receive it in that condition.
It baffles me, why a man would spend so much time and money on memorabilia and not put it on display. My father was somewhat paranoid, he probably worried that someone would steal it. It is a stupid concept.
I'll be posting everything here on C.L. To view the other things search by keyword Melanie Rosen either space it or write it as one word, It doesn't matter.
All signed memorabilia is authenticated by PSA/DNA Authentication services. Some things are certified by two and three different companies, but this is one I keep seeing on all the Letters of Authenticity. EVERY ITEM HAS A UNIQUE LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY TO GO WITH IT.
I will consider all offers. Top price takes it home
Shipping insurance is required. Email me your zip code and I will get back to you immediately with the shipping cost.
Thanks
-Melanie
