Weston Wear is a contemporary clothing manufacturer located in the mission/potrero hill area of San Francisco for over twenty-five years. We have an immediate opening for a Shipping/Co-Ordination/Logistics/Warehouse Manager to provide ongoing warehouse administration. In addition, you will coordinate with Production for timely and accurate fulfillment of orders in hand.

POSITION TITLE: SHIPPING/CO-ORDINATION/LOGISTICS/WAREHOUSE MANAGER
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The ideal candidate that we are looking for is upbeat, mature, organized, independent and self-motivated to fit comfortably in our firm of twenty-five people. The candidate must be computer literate (especial to the Macintosh), possess a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and prior experience in warehouse administration. The candidate will possess cultural sensitivity, since we conduct business internationally, must be an energetic self-starter and able to work independently. Be detail orientated and organized, be accountable and effective regarding follow-up, possess an ability to meet deadlines and juggles multiple projects, have unwavering personal integrity, and be efficient, organized, disciplined, hard working and persistent.
GENERAL RESPONSIBLITIES:
The position entails small package distribution from pick ticket's, department store LTL routing and directing contractor pick up and delivery around town.
Candidates must be able to schedule and prioritize while working closely with the production department on a consistent flow of product through the warehouse facility for timely delivery to accounts.
Knowledge and experience with EDI and computer label making is helpful.
Concern for quality control standards is very important.
Organization, detail and communication ability with our work force earns extra consideration.
Manage daily warehouse/distribution operation, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment.
Improve and streamline overall warehouse set-up and procedures.
Supervise staff of four or more people (some are seasonal). Prioritizing of daily tasks according to needs.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have experience with UPS and FedEx domestic and international shipping, and understand and adhere to Department store(s) routing Instructions and BOL's for avoidance of chargeback’s and shipping audit failures.
5+ years of warehouse experience with EDI familiarity
2+ years of warehouse management experience
Accuracy and close attention to detail required
Must have computer skills, able to compile accurate inventory reports and understand Internet compliance concerns for some retailers.
Salary is based on experience.
