Securitas Security Services USA (Securitas USA) is seeking a qualified security professional to function as a SFOC Operator assigned for a Hi-Tech account. There are two Security Operations Centers in the U.S for this client. They are located in the San Jose, California and RTP, North Carolina. Both SOC’s are responsible for monitoring alarms and dispatching the appropriate resources throughout the Americas. SOC is also responsible for worldwide employee assistance. If an employee is on travel and has any type of problem, they may contact SOC for assistance. SOC utilizes CCTV to assess alarms and assist during requests, such as escorts, vehicle assistance and door unlocks. Both SOC’s serve the communication hub for the Loss Prevention Department. During emergence situations the SOC will control all radio and phone traffic to effectively manage the emergency. SOC is responsible for properly documenting all events and incidents via several databases and forms. SOC pers onnel are responsible for performing audits on key security functions such as, CCTV, duress alarms and key control.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Previous security experience a must
· 2-3 years of control center experience preferred
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Candidates must be detail oriented and work well under pressure
· Must be able to effectively multitask and prioritize
· Must be dependable and posses leadership skills
· Must appear and present themselves professionally. “Image is Critical”
· Must be computer proficient, MS Office experience required (Access, Excel, and Word)
· Must have working knowledge with email. Eudora email preferred.
· Previous access control system experience desired.
· Must be able to type 30 wpm
· Must pass the Thustone, Test of Mental Alertness with a minimum of score for 40
· Must be a team player and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
