High end, specialty coffe company is looking to hire a service technician to provide excellent customer service and solutions to it's many independent, boutique coffee bars and exclusive restaraunts. You must be willing to travel the greater bay area, including the Monterey Peninsula, installing and servicing equipment. Company truck is provided.
This is a customer service oriented position requiring attention to providing excellent follow-up on service calls, calling in special order parts from job sites, completing the necessary paperwork to ensure the successful handling of all work orders, delivering equipment, and picking up payments.
Must have theory and skills training in electrical, mechanical and plumbing devices and be able trouble shoot problems in these areas. Must be experienced in 110, 220, volt AC and DC electrical systems with the ability to wire systems, trace problems and repair. Site specific devices may include coffee equipment, espresso machines, water filtration systems and electrical panels.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are critical.
We need people who enjoy problem solving and can resolve customer issues quickly and accurately.
Must supply own hand tools and be able to lift 50-75 pounds easily.
Must have a good driving record and supply a DMV report.
