Our San Francisco office is in a great location right near Montgomery

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement key components of our next-generation server
applications in areas such as:
- Digital content management and distribution
- Digital rights management
- Mobile payment solutions
- Mobile client communications via GPRS and SMS
- Data mining and reporting
- Dream up innovative new technical approaches
- Challenge yourself to overcome complex design issues
- Contribute, learn, succeed and have fun
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years commercial software engineering experience
- Firm grasp of the Java language and J2EE components (JSP, Struts, Servlets, JDBC, JNDI)
- 3-tier server application development utilizing MVC, business logic encapsulation and data access layer
- Object-oriented analysis and design skills
- Database schema design experience and SQL
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to write solid, well documented, thread-safe code
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- B.S. or equivalent minimum experience
Experience in any of the following is a
plus:
- XML, XSL
- JSTL
- Tomcat
- MySQL
- Perl
- Encryption
- Prior experience working at a startup
Personality Traits:
- Excellent work ethic, solid problem-solving skills, can-do attitude,
and good communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Imaginative, energetic and able to work effectively under pressure
- A good sense of humor is a plus!
