Xythos is seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Support Engineer to accept the challenge of working in an energetic environment, with cutting-edge technologies, to help deliver world-class, enterprise document management solutions.

This position plays a key role in Xythos’ success by assisting customers' technical resources deploy and maintain our software. Responsibilities include assisting customers deploy and configure our products within their organization, answering technical questions related to the Xythos Enterprise Document Manager, Digital Locker and Xythos Drive technologies. Individual will provide second-level support and serve as second-level liaison between customers and Development/Quality Assurance Departments.
This will include troubleshooting customers’ environments and/or analyzing custom code and utilities which are developed using our WebFile Server APIs. The Senior technical support engineer will also lead internal projects that benefits the organization. He will mentor junior members and will often be involved in highly critical customer situations. The Senior Technical Support Engineer will contribute to the development of future products and facilitate improvement of customer support processes.
Requirements :
Skills and Knowledge:
• 4+ years of technical support experience with web-based applications.
• Experience supporting servlet based applications a must.
• Working knowledge of Java and WebDAV a plus.
• Hands on experience with relational databases
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to be a self-starter in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to be on-call 24X7 on a rotational basis
Academic:
The position requires a BS in Computer Science (or a related field), or equivalent industry experience.
