Senior Software Researcher/Engineer - Research and Development/Core Development

Overview
We are looking for outstanding software professionals to join H5's core development team in the development of a world class, highly scalable software solutions. This individual will collaborate with research scientists and engineers.
Responsibilities
• Conduct advanced technology research in the areas of language, data mining, and statistics;
• Work as part of H5's core research, development, and engineering team;
• Develop and integrate information retrieval software.
Requirements
• Genuine passion for research and cutting-edge software engineering.
• Experience with research in a) natural language processing and b) automated classifiers and learning algorithms such as neural networks and Support Vector Machines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with demonstrated success in developing and shipping complex software products and services.
• Demonstrated expertise in Java, C++, and/or C#.
• Expert Perl and/or Lisp programmer
• Experience with statistical packages such as SAS/SPSS.
• Solid understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Proactive and effective communicator, leader and team player.
• Demonstrated success in research, development, and building successful enterprise software.
• MS, PhD, or ABD in Cognitive Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computational Linguistics, Applied Statistics, or a related area of study.
