An eighty-person operation located in Sunnyvale, CA, FSC, Inc. develops ASCC, an autonomous computing product and PRIMECLUSTER, a high availability and scalability solution, sold worldwide by Fujitsu Siemens and Fujitsu group of companies.
We are currently looking for a Senior Software Kernel/Network Engineer.
Education: BS/MS in Computer Science or related discipline.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years' experience as a Software Kernel/Network Engineer.
- Expertise in C programming required.
- Must possess extensive knowledge of Solaris and Linux. Some Windows kernel knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking programming is required.
- Must have experience developing/designing large software systems and possess the understanding of the complete product development lifecycle.
- Position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to work well in a team.
