Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or related field (MS preferred)
5+ years development experience working in a fast paced project environment
Deep programming experience on J2EE platform (JSP, Servlet, JDBC, JMS, XML required, others preferred)
Excellent math, statistics, probability skills.
Understanding of supply chain concepts such as Demand Planning, Forecasting, Available to Promise, Replenishment, Lean Manufacturing.
Solid track record in development of manufacturing or financial operations management applications
Strong SQL and database skills
Apache Jakarta experience
Experience in use of information integration tools, or ETL tools
Excellent knowledge of UML or other similar descriptive tools
Ability to standardize and document the API for your module
Good understanding of enterprise data models
Strong interpersonal skills (oral and written communication)
Experience in short release cycles, the full software lifecycle and have worked on development of a product that gained major customer use
Ability to take on a part of our product line and be its champion
Ability to work closely with customers onsite helping in requirement definition and documentation.
Pluses:
Industry experience building software sold into Semiconductor, Contract Manufacturing, High Tech or Retailing
Experience developing a platform for multiple data-source environments, such as financial, manufacturing, supply chain or inventory management
Ability to lead small 2-3 person team of engineers
Desire to own all engineering aspects of the product development and customer deployment
