Financial Engines is seeking a well-qualified individual to join the Data Services Team. Our team is responsible for the middle-ware and server side tiers to Financial Engines’ core products including the fast growing Managed Accounts platform. Applicant must demonstrate proficiency for writing robust, high throughput and scalable server software. Previous experience with secure data exchange technologies and/or JDBC programming is necessary.
Responsibilities:
· Knowledge and experience of the financial services domain.
· Experience with JDBC and relational data modeling.
· Experience with server and middleware technology (e.g. J2EE, Web Services, EJB, Soap, CORBA, and/or .NET).
· Experience with web based Single Sign-On (SSO) and protocols such as SAML, Liberty Alliance or .NET.
· Experience with asymmetric (RSA) and symmetric key encryption (Blowfish, DES) algorithms.
· Experience with secure Internet application technologies such as PKI, SSL and JSSE.
· XML to relational data mapping.
· Experience developing and debugging Java with the Eclipse IDE.
Qualifications:
· 4+ years work experience or equivalent programming in Java.
· Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design using Java.
· Experience using XML.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Four-year college degree preferably in Computer Science.
