General Electric Power Systems customizes Citadon CW, a product of Citadon Inc., for Collaboration and Workflow management according to their needs. Customization of Workflow for GEPS was done using VB and eMatrix and later converted to XML manually in the format needed for Citadon CW.
Manual conversion of VB files to XML was inefficient and time consuming. Perl Program was developed for automation of conversion. XML::Writer, XML::DOM, XML::DOMParser modules were used in the Perl program. The program was later re-written in Java using the Jakarta Regexp and JDOM packages. The Java package was enhanced for complete Workflow customization process for General Electric. Business processes/Workflows were created using Citadon CW Java APIs and XML.
