Challenging opportunity to test leading edge financial software. We are looking for a highly motivated energetic individual to join our team, and to be responsible for testing critical elements of our web based Financial Advisor and our new and exiting Managed Accounts program.
Responsibilities
· Design, develop, document and execute manual test cases
· Write automation using 3rd party tools
· Work with automation team on designing and documenting QA testing tools and test APIs
· Lead assigned projects, create project plans, test plans, and test outlines; work with project team on delivering high quality products
· Work with Developers to isolate complex bugs and verify fixes
· Report software problems using TeamTrack bug tracking system
· Provide timely status to the project team
· Promote team learning and positive team interactions
· At least 5 years of QA experience in web-based environment
· In depth knowledge of all phases of development/test cycles (system, integration, regression, etc)
· Extensive experience in black box testing of multi tiered web-based applications
· Extensive experience testing data integrity
· Extensive experience testing XML files
· Experience writing project plans, test plans and test cases
· Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
· Has ability to work independently as well as a part of a project team
· Extensive experience using testing tools and building automation test scripts. Preferred tools are e-Tester or SilkTest.
Qualifications
· Knowledge of Java and/or Perl
· In depth knowledge of relational database (Oracle, Microsoft SQL, etc)
· Financial knowledge, preferably testing experience of the financial applications
