Job Description:
Primary responsibility will be to run multiple large, complex renovation/relocation construction projects for commercial office, R & D, Biotech, and light manufacturing. Life Science and clean room experience is a plus. Candidate must be experienced in coordinating all aspects of projects including architectural design, engineering, construction, technology, furniture and relocation. Specific duties include: needs analysis, programming, site evaluation, vendor and contractor selection and bidding, estimating and budgeting, contract negotiation for all vendors, consultants and contractors, cost control, procurement, scheduling, implementation and punch list follow-up. Senior Project Manager will be responsible for attending project meetings and interfacing with vendors, contractors and client personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
Excellent organizational, computer (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project) and interpersonal skills are necessary. Minimum of 10 years experience working for a commercial (office) real estate development, commercial construction, architectural or project management firm is required. Candidate should also have working knowledge of and experience in major corporate transitions including furniture, cabling and move management.
