Senior Project Manager: Full-time with benefits.
Reports to the Director of Housing Development, responsible for managing new affordable housing developments including acquisition, rehabilitation, and new construction projects for people with developmental disabilities, including working with consumers, service providers, clients, contractors and suppliers; management of all cost controls.

Desired Skills:

The preferred candidate must have minimum two years affordable housing experience and excellent organizational and planning skills, proficient with computers including Microsoft Word 2003 Office Suite and MS Project. Work with the Director of Housing Development on all applications for financing including CDBG, MHP, HUD, TCAC, HOME, etc. Provide research assistance to identify funding sources, identify new projects, policy initiatives, feasibility analysis, pre-development, construction and permanent loan phases for development. Coordinate and direct activities of various consultants including architects, engineers, attorneys, and financial investors crucial to the development process. The position must maintain contact with public and private lenders involved in the transaction to obtain construction and permanent financing. Experience in pro-forma analysis, application preparation and coordination of private and local government loans or grants. Assist with coordination of planning and permit approvals. Attend project meetings, prepare reports for same. Maintain project binders and files with applicable documents for each project. Supervise job sites as needed; attend draw meetings, evening meetings with the Board of Directors, neighborhood and city planning meetings as directed. BA degree with experience in public administration, real estate development and California Real Estate License a plus. Ability to read, interpret and analyze written budgets, drawings, and financial documents, write business correspondence, reports and applications, and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups and individuals. A valid, clean CA driver’s license and a personal insured vehicle are required.

West Bay Housing, 501c3 non-profit organization, was incorporated in 2004, and is a fast growing affordable housing developer and property manager providing permanent affordable housing for people with developmental disabilities in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. In San Francisco, West Bay Housing was selected as co-developer for set aside units at Rosa Parks Senior Center, and most recently was awarded a partnership with the City of San Francisco to develop a fifteen-unit HUD 811/MHP apartment building in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley.
