Position Summary:
The opportunity is in the critical product management department within ASI supporting the evolution and implementation of an enterprise application product-line to financial institutions and independent financial advisors. Candidates must have a successful track record of building and managing new product offerings, and managing client account activities. Candidates should be familiar with modern portfolio theory.
Responsibilities:
Define, develop, and deliver products with the highest value to ASI’s target markets.
Manage definition and development phases of the product/solution lifestyle
• Deliver marketing requirements and functional specification documentation.
• Act as primary liaison between Design, Engineering, and Sales.
Proactively manage enterprise client relationships.
• Communicate news, utilization, product updates, and new product opportunities to all levels on large financial institutions.
• Monitor and identify service inefficiencies and develop methods of improvement.
• Oversee implementation of quarterly proprietary data process and configuration of client enterprises.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 7 years of progressively managing a dynamic product management process, preferably enterprise-level software applications.
• Direct and relevant experience in financial/investment services, consumer products, and /or internet/application development.
• Proficiency with traditional project management practices and tools.
• Demonstrated experience working with senior managers to execute projects.
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively-in written and verbal forms-is critical.
• Must be creative and resourceful, self-starter, highly motivated critical thinker.
• Team-oriented, strong relationship building and influencing skills.
• Enthusiastic, hard working and highly productive…while having fun!
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where market focus and time-to-market are paramount.
• MBA, CFA preferred, but not required.
