Senior Product Manager
Seeking an experienced Product Manager to plan and execute all aspects of product planning and product release management for Voxify’s family of automated agent voice application products (www.voxify.com). The position is based in Alameda, CA and reports to the VP of Marketing. The candidate will be a key member of the Marketing team with responsibility for all inwardly focused product management tasks using a structured product development lifecycle methodology. The role will include the development of market requirements, managing product release schedules, developing and executing product launch plans and maintaining competitive analysis. The candidate will work in a dynamic matrixed organization of Marketing, Engineering and Sales translating customer requirements into deliverable products and services.
Successful candidates will have a related degree (Marketing or Technical) and 3+ years Product Management experience working with IVR or speech voice applications. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of creativity, strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience with speech recognition systems from ScanSoft, Genesys Labs, etc a +.
Responsibilities
The Product Manager will own the Voxify product lines from definition to end of life. Major duties and responsibilities will include:
-Define product strategies and gather customer feedback to produce MRDs.
-Develop and own the product launch plans and process.
-Work closely with engineering, and professional services to define product roadmaps, including content and schedule of releases.
-Establish product naming, pricing, packaging and bundling programs.
-Conduct market research and analysis in support of product planning, marketing and sales activities.
Qualifications
-2+ years experience with enterprise voice application products.
-Strong technical knowledge of the voice applications industry is required.
-Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills.
-Strong interpersonal skills with a “team” attitude
-Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks and issues to maximize effectiveness.
-Demonstrated ability to work with sales, engineering, customers and partners.
