Jobs: Senior Network Engineer
Responsibilities:
•Supports, maintains, and troubleshoots mission-critical network systems
•Performs OS upgrades on office networking gear
•Performs all network security checks and intrusion detections, and prepares reports.
•IS responsibilities for all Office Network Operations
•Participates in 24x7 on-call production and network rotations
•Prepares weekly reports on essential metrics (uptime, bandwidth and networking equipment usage, trends)
•Supports network capacity planning tests and analysis
Requirements:
•4+ years of experience in network administration and architecture
•Direct experience of supporting 24x7x365 customer facing e-commerce networks (an absolute must)
•Strong working knowledge/hands-on experience of networking topology, switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls
•Strong/expert working knowledge of Cisco IOS, NIS, DHCP, DNS, BGP, load balancing of multi-home sites
•Cisco certification CCNA, CCNP
•2+ years of direct hands-on experience with apache
•2+ years of supporting mission critical Linux/Unix systems
•Knowledge of programming (e.g. Java), scripting (e.g. shell, Perl)
•Outstanding customer service skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills
•Demonstrated ability to be a team player and a willingness to lend a hand with any project
