We are a small, private, and well funded (venture backed) medical device company in the process of launching our second product for commercial release. This position will play an important role with significant responsibility for successfully launching the product, as well as creating programs that drive repeat product usage and revenues.
This position will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing and will serve as a key driver for our marketing programs.
Responsibilities include:
Defining and executing key marketing programs,
Working closely with the sales team to drive sales of the companys first product,
Developing collateral and sales tools, analyzing market conditions,
Identifying customer needs and developing programs to meet those needs.
*Travel in the field of 25-40% is expected.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
7+ years in medical device product marketing.
Bachelors degree in business, marketing or an engineering discipline
Demonstrated track record of strong practical and strategic marketing success.
Proven track record of driving sales through demand creation.
Experience in driving a new service or product concept through an accelerated adoption curve.
Enthusiasm to work in a start-up environment - an entrepreneurial self starter.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and presentation skills.
Strong analytical, project management and organizational skills.
Thorough understanding of the medical device reimbursement environment.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other office systems
A great sense of humor
Desired Skills/Experience
Sales experience is a plus
An MBA is a plus
Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator or other graphic design software a plus
