Brief Description:
- As Senior Manager in the Business Development team, you will be required to identify and execute key strategic partnerships that fuel Postini's growth into new markets as well as commercialize our technology with strategic OEM partners
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with key executives to generate, evaluate and prioritize new market growth opportunities
- Identify and develop relationships with strategic 3rd parties
- Conduct competitive market analysis and present to executives
- Construct financial models to influence strategic decisions
- Structure and negotiate commercial terms with 3rd parties
Keys to Success:
- Strong ability to influence and advocate business case among internal stakeholders
- Advanced financial modeling skills
- Technical aptitude to work comfortably with engineering and operations
- Ability to interact with senior executives and influence decision making
- Adept at multi-tasking and prioritizing workload
- Deal savvy; logical and structured approach to commercial negotiation
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in the technology sector
- Familiarity/exposure to commerical term sheets and key business and legal issues for consideration
- Experience at constructing financial analyses and detailed models to aid decision making. 1-3 years in investment banking or corporate development preferred
- Experience interacting with broad set of functions within a company including operations, sales, marketing, business systems, finance etc.
- Experience in the high-tech industry with perferred exposure to software and/or managed services environments (optional)
Education:
- Undergraduate degree in either business/finance or computer science/engineering
- MBA preferred
