Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain server hardware and software. Hardware is mostly Rackable Systems and HP Proliant 585’s, Netapp and EMC storage. Software includes: Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, PHP, Nagios, Oracle, Zend, Postfix, Memcache,
- Provide support to Application Development Team
- Maintenance of all environments (Production, Staging, and Development)
- On call 24/7
Qualifications:
- Five to seven years experience in Linux, with exposure to other UN*Xs
- Three plus years working in a 24x7 environment
- Cisco networking experience a big plus
- Very strong understanding of Internet technologies, web-server technologies, and shell and Perl scripting
- B.S. in Computer Science
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Expert troubleshooting skills.
