RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes; ongoing evaluation of new accounting pronouncements and their application to Visa`s business; drive associated Accounting Policy changes; draft Management Discussion & Analysis for the Company`s quarterly and annual reports. Participate in the external audit process. Secondary Job Responsibilities: Participate in special projects designed to evaluate alternative accounting treatment of various contracts and business activities; maintain 5 years of historical comparable financial statements.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field; CPA; minimum of 3 years experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and 2 years experience with the preparation and analysis of GAAP and SEC reporting. This position also requires the ability to collaborate cross functionally on complex issues, driving to timely resolutions, the ability to present, organize, and convey complex problems or issues within and across other functions, strong teamwork, organizational skills, and the ability to drive results in a timely manner with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
