KeepMedia (www.keepmedia.com) is an online media retailing start-up founded by its CEO, Louis Borders (founder of Borders Books & Music and Webvan), which offers publishers a solution to paid content problems and consumers convenient access to premium content. We are currently looking for a full-time Senior Accountant, but are open to having a full-time contractor or temp-to-hire as well.
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will assist in various accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, general ledger reconciliations and preparation of external reports to partners. Strong accounts receivable and revenue accounting is essential. Solid GAAP knowledge and bachelor’s degree, in Accounting or Business Administration, required. Excellent accounting systems skills required, with specific knowledge of Great Plains and MS Access a big plus.
