DCP is the custom publishing division of Diablo Publications. A charter member of the Custom Publishing Council (www.custompublishingcouncil.org) we produce customer newsletters and magazines, employee communications, and other content-driven collateral in print and on the web to clients in the healthcare, real estate, retail, associations, professional sports, not-for-profit and technology sectors. Custom publishing has grown in the last five years from a little-recognized marketing channel to a major player in the marketing mix.
We are seeking accomplished sales/business development professionals with a strong marketing and/or publishing background. Advertising agency account management experience is useful – if accompanied by successful and profitable business development activity.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain sales pipeline sufficient to meet or exceed revenue objectives. Provide timely and accurate management reports including forecasts. Manage all aspects of a sales cycle including qualification of opportunities, development of a sales strategy, negotiation and closing of business. Working with the team project manager, provide overall on-going leadership of projects post-sale.
-- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in marketing communications, public relations, advertising or other related area selling contract transactions of $100,000+
-- Proven success in executive selling skills, must have sold to “C” level.
