EXPERIENCE
Jetaway Inc – Lead Software Developer – Las Vegas, NV -- (2/2004 – Present)
Currently leading small teams of UI, Middle-Tier and Back-end programmers for this major ecommerce travel product provider. Main areas of participation include:
• Assisted the Chief Software Architect in designing and coding Jetaway’s core Travel Product availability, and booking services. This system, which is based on .Net Service Orientation, I helped build using Object Orientated design prinicpals, n-tier Application Architecture, and C# Web Service Messaging.
• Lead integral parts of an effort to redesign and re-architect www.travelworm.com, a legacy code based ASP/VB architecture, into www.jetaway.com an ASP.Net Web client communicating with a .Net Service Orientated Back-end architecture.
• Designed and Developed a mission critical “promotions” system which helped JetAway gain key Hotel contracts by provding the ability to offer the Hotel specific promotions through Jetaway’s Website. This service was built using a SQL Server database back-end, Asynchronous C# Web Service calls, Dataset merging via ADO.net and Asp.Net Custom controls to display the promotions.
World Savings Inc. - Application Developer – Oakland, CA – (4/2003 – 2/2004)
Worked as a Senior developer in the group that manages and developes critical software applications for the Loan Administration department of this industry leading Savings and Loan Bank. Key areas of impact include:
• Designed and developed a .Net based shopping cart and online ordering system for World’s promotional giveaways. This system was written using ASP.Net Web Custom Controls, C#, and XML Custom Serialzation. It included an workflow/approval module, and a configurable API which allowed different merchandise providers to request their orders via SMPT, FTP, HTTP or Fax.
• Programmed new features on the company’s Interest Rate Sheet Generator using Windows Services, an FTPClient, Web Services, C#, VB.Net and XML.
• Worked on a C# Web Service that provided LDAP Query results against the company’s Active Directory implementation. Developed the client for this service using a .Net Web Service proxy class, and a collection of custom security classes used to authenticate and authorize users set up in the company’s exchange server.
Vital Link Inc. - Senior Software Engineer – San Francisco, CA – (5/2002 – 4/2003)
Individually managed and developed a collection of sotware applications for a provider of small to medium size business management products. Major projects include:
• Developed a C# / .Net based CRM System Monitoring tool which solved a major problem in the redundancy of Vital Link’s business customer information. This tool monitored a SQL Server customer database using triggers, and then executed Perl Script API calls against each customer’s redundant data in a Perl / MySQL based proprietary business suite program called “Open Desk”.
• Architected a .Net based business application template using the Windows File System, Visual studio .net Add-ins, C#, XML and Sql Server. Using this template I could easily hook into a pool of scattered resources such as workflow definition schemas, security information, and business reporting data, and then easily use those resources to launch a number of the company’s inter-related key business application features.
• Designed and coded a new Javascript based UI for Vital Link’s online video surveillance product. This project included working with streaming media using the API from the Microsoft Widnows Media Player SDK.
ConsumerReview.com - Web Application Developer – Sunnyvale CA – (3/2000 – 4/2002)

• Designed and coded a PERL / CGI based Virtual Tradeshow program which allowed Web site managers to dynamically create tradeshow booths for a manufacturer while they were sitting at the actual show. The application used custom written PERL based templates which dynamically generated HTML code to display booth and product images/descriptions.
• Redesigned the “Virtual Tradeshow” application mentioned above using C#, SQL Server, XML, and XSLT.
• Developed a .Net based Customer Data Management System which provided functionality to administer, and report upon customer information and sales data. ( C# Client, PERL Server, SQL Server Back-end ).
