Looking Primarily For Part-Time Morning Position with Good Pay and Benefits
Dear Director:
I would like to apply for your teacher or Director position.
I have been a teacher for over a decade and a half and have also had director experience. I hold the Program Director Teacher Credential and 36 Early Childhood Education units. I also have a BA in Advertising/Journalism plus a Paralegal Certificate.
I love children and am very committed to my work with them. Over the years I have worked with various populations of children from the affluent to my work with children who are severely emotionally disturbed. Throughout all of these experiences I have learned a range of skills and have honed my abilities with children. I am often considered creative and nurturing as well as playful.
My educational philosophy is that children learn best with creative hands on experiences, consistency, gentle guidance and nurturance. I love child directed experiences for the children where they are encouraged to explore and question their environment/s.
I also enjoy creating and being part of a community and have many friends whom are former co-workers. One of my strengths additionally is that I have relationships that are strong and respectful with parents.
Please see the enclosed resume. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you for your time.
