I'm sure the opposite is true for many guys also: You find the right girl but she's not ready to settle down nor wants a family. As a girl, I too don't have time to guess if a guy is truly serious or "just browsing" the market. My time is too valuable and so I'm going to require that the guys please screen themselves first before replying.
First and foremost, you must be looking for a Fiance to settle down with--Not just a girlfriend. You're ready and want to start a family soon. This is the most important requirement. Against common practice of the Bay Area, I don't believe you need to have a ridiculously drawn out looooong-term relationship to know if you want to marry and have a family with them. I read a study that says waiting too long likely destroys the possibility of marriage or a happy marriage later on. If two people are ready, it won't be that frustrating as we've probably all experienced.
So knowing this, I'd like to find a guy who's compatible with me and my family.
I am Chinese American, mid to late 20's, University educated, fair skinned, and often other asians mistaken me for being Japanese. I am cute/attractive and can almost guarantee cute delightful little babies.
I'm looking for a guy who has a Family Plan. No I'm not talking about a cell phone package, I'm talking about a plan to provide for a comfortable life for your future family. This would consist of:
(1) A house or family property to start and raise a family
(2) A graduate degree from an Ivy League school
(3) A profession such as an Attorney, Businessman (with an MBA), CPA, Engineer, with Business pursuits etc.
(4) Age between 29 to 42 and Never been married, no previous children -- no exceptions
(5) Be either Chinese, Korean (but not the Church-going type), or Caucasian
I once was a career girl and have a business background but I made a personal decision that starting a family is what I want to focus on now. I can always go back to my career later and am not averse to work and earning lots and lots of money. Ideally, I would prefer a husband to be business-minded in some way which assures our family income to not be limited to salary alone. He also should do or have done some business travel and knows the world outside the Bay Area. Such a partner would be ideal for I love to discuss business ventures, have stimulating conversations and travel together. I want us to be a great team, both in raising a family, and in a business sense.
Although if you're extremely successful, I'll gladly just take on the role of elegant wife and hostess and become actively involved in our favorite charities.
