Esquire Deposition Services, the largest nationwide provider of court reporting and legal support services, is currently recruiting for two positions in our San Francisco office, which is located in the heart of the Financial District.
SCHEDULING COORDINATOR
If you are a team player who has a positive, professional phone demeanor and a strong work ethic, this is the job for you.
Ideal candidates should have 2 to 3 years of outstanding customer service experience (some college preferred), possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to follow a task through to its logical conclusion. Candidates should have exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is key. Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is a must.
Main responsibilities include receiving calls from legal professionals who need to schedule depositions, and coordinating with court reporters to assign jobs.
Other responsibilities include:
* Creating and maintaining a current, detailed, and accurate deposition calendar; and an updated log of reporter availability.
* Verifying and confirming all jobs for the current and following day.
* Contacting reporters with daily assignments.
* Booking any on-site or off-site depositions.
* Emailing or faxing information to other locations to confirm jobs.
* Assigning conference rooms, videographers, and interpreters
* Office support, which may include setting up and cleaning deposition rooms, answering phones, e-mailing notices, filing, and other general office duties.
* Interacting with office management and other departments as needed; may include billing, production and sales
Compensation: $31,000 - $34,000 (depending on experience)
PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
If you are a team player who likes working with others and accomplishing detailed tasks, this is the job for you!
Ideal candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Utilization of high capacity copier equipment as well as computer skills (MS Office, DOS-based systems, Windows) are also requirements of this position. At least two years' previous experience working in a copy center or legal support company is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
• Imports, copies, and binds transcripts
• Prepares letters, discs, and emails
• Coordinates with Court Reporters and Clients for Processing and Delivery Requirements
• Act as a team leader by overseeing workflow & setting performance standards
• Assist with any client issues and trouble-shoot any production problems that may occur
Compensation: $11 – 12/hour (depending on experience)
