Description PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES:
Under the leadership of the Program Manager, contributes to success of the SaMCARES program, San Mateo County抯 retention incentive program for early childhood education professionals. Carries out designated duties related to the Provider Service Department.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
稺ith support from the Program Manager, develop and implement program strategies for target communities, including developing and delivering outreach plans, trainings, presentations and materials related to project goals
稰rovide technical assistance to SaMCARES participants, including: delivering orientations and training, providing phone resource referral information, assisting with the Child Development Permit application, provide guidance and support to meet SaMCARES requirements
稢onduct appropriate program evaluations and reports, prepare required reports to federal, state and local government funders, and maintain communication with project funders
稺ith support from the Program Manager, design and develop a comprehensive program to support quality improvements, including resources to assist in gaining accreditation or to participate in PFA and to improve outcomes on standardized rating scales (ECERS, FDCRS, etc.)
稤evelop and implement forms, procedures and record-keeping systems pertaining to participant screening, enrollment and stipend distribution
稯versee participant tracking system by maintaining MS Access-based CARES database
稤evelop and maintain career development website
稦oster collaborative efforts within the department and enthusiastically carry out overall Council goals and mission
稯ther miscellaneous duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
稡A degree or equivalent in ECE or other related field
򈨵 years experience in a related social service and/or child development field
