JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

IDEAL CANDIDATE: Pursuing a career in sales, where income is limited only by effort and organization. This demanding entry level position will provide the sales and marketing experience required to become a successful commercial insurance broker. Candidate must be willing to perform beyond the expected and commit themselves to winning new accounts. There is an enormous opportunity for growth and a successful sales assistant can expect promotion within 2 years.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, organized, computer literate and MOTIVATED.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary function of the Sales Assistant will be to support new business production for various producers. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

1. Prospecting, primarily by phone.
2. Marketing, mostly by mail and fax.
3. Administration, such as complete applications, prepare presentations, etc.
4. Research target industries and prospects.
5. Special projects as assigned.
