Modern Sailing Academy in Sausalito is looking for a new School Director. Over the past 15 years Modern Sailing has built an international reputation as a leader in sailing education. We teach courses on the Bay and in exotic locations such as Greece, the Caribbean and Tahiti. We are the only sailing school in the bay area that offers USCG Licensing Courses and RYA Training Courses.
Our ideal candidate has excellent communication and sales skills and a great enthusiasm for introducing people to the sport of sailing. Good phone demeanor is a must. We are looking for a career-minded candidate.
Responsibilities include:
- helping new sailors decide which course is right for them
- discussing our Adventure Sailing trips with experienced sailors
- building the Modern Sailing community through Club Sails and other events
- leading marketing and advertising initiatives to attract new students and
retain current members
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a sales/marketing
background and a desire to be in the sailing industry. Job training will include taking our classes, giving the School Director the ability to inform others about what makes Modern Sailing Academy different.
