SUBSTANTIAL REWARD!
I realize that this is a complete stretch – but a terrible thing has happened to me.
My wife an I were given a bassinet by very dear friends of ours for the birth of our first child. It turned out that the bassinet was much too big for our home and we decided to use a smaller co-sleeper that had also been given to us. Time passed - in the process of cleaning out the storage area I inadvertently sent the bassinet to Goodwill along with our son’s other baby things. This was probably about 6 months ago.
Well, as it turns out – the bassinet was a family heirloom of our friends, over 70 babies have spent their first few months in that very bassinet. Our friends are obviously devastated.
I am doing everything I can to track down this bassinet. It is a white wicker bassinet on wheels. I believe it was made in the 1930’s. I have also learned that under the padding the names of many of the children who have used it are written on the frame.
