JOB SUMMARY: Audits all gaming reports. Prepares revenue reconciliation for income journal entries based on audited gaming reports and revenue centers reports. Analyzes all gaming, tax reporting areas and accounting functions for compliance to NIGC, Gaming Ordinance, Internal Controls, and GAP requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Reviews all documents received for completeness and accuracy.
2. Performs all games audits to ensure the integrity of the gaming reports.
3. Researches, documents, and corrects (when appropriate) all variances and/or anomalies using various computerized gaming systems.
4. Prepares balanced income journals for audited games.
5. Performs analysis of gaming reports for compliance to gaming standards set forth by various agencies.
6. Performs all audits for revenue departments (i.e. food and beverage, and retail centers) using supporting documentation and computerized system reports.
7. Prepares balanced income journal for revenue departments based on audited reports.
8. Reviews, researches and documents variances in the vault reporting.
9. Reviews all tax reporting from games for accuracy.
10. Reviews and prepares final documents to meet all Title 31 requirements.
11. Safeguards all assets.
12. Ensures compliance with MICS as required by Federal, State and Tribal agencies.
13. Assist in preparation of any Federal and State tax requirements needed for the casino or guests.
14. Acts as a role model and always present oneself as a credit to River Rock Casino and encourages others to do the same.
15. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, department and company policies and procedures.
16. Assists with other financial functions as needed.
17. Attends all required meetings and training.
18. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or GED; associates degree in accounting or related field preferred.
2. Minimum of two (2) years full-time accounting experience required; hospitality or casino experience industry) preferred.
3. Prior experience with MS-Windows and MS-Office computer applications (i.e. Excel, Word and Outlook) required.
4. Prior experience with accounting software programs required; AS400 preferred.
5. Prior data entry and 10-key by touch required.
6. Must have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
7. Must be able to work with sensitive and confidential data and maintain integrity.
8. Good oral and written communication required.
9. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
10. Must present a well-groomed appearance.

PHYSICAL, INTELLECUAL AND ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS:

1. Must be able to continuously maneuver around office, effectively work at a desk and respond to written and aural cues.
2. Must be able to lift and carry the weight needed to perform the duties of the job.
