Parr Lumber Company is seeking individuals who are passionate about creating or broadening a career with a company that is experiencing unprecedented growth. Store managers are responsible for the complete day-to-day operation of the Cabinet Outlet.
They are responsible for maximizing store sales/profitability while working ethically and modeling Parr Lumber Company’s core values. They accomplish these goals by developing strategies, and leading a team of Associates. A Cabinet Outlet Manager must have a comprehensive knowledge of the building materials industry, specifically cabinets.
Managing the Outlet
Providing Excellent Customer Service
-Ensuring that the Parr Lumber shopping experience is provided to all customers
-Ensuring customer concerns are solved effectively and promptly
Supervising Store Associates
-Recruiting and hiring the most qualified candidates to meet the store’s needs
-Observing and evaluating Associates job performance
-Communicating Parr Lumber Company’s objectives to Associates
-Motivating Associates to perform at a high level
-Coaching, training and developing Associates
Planning
-Developing and communicating store standards to Associates
-Developing a strategy to improve customer service, drive store sales and increase profitability
-Developing an Outlet mission and objectives and ensuring that they are met
-Forecasting staffing needs and developing a recruiting/hiring strategy to ensure optimum staffing
Other Duties
-Ensuring Safety of Customers and Associates
-Other duties as necessary to properly manage all aspects of the Outlet’s operation and profitability
