Retail Support Analyst

SPINS is seeking a Retail Support Analyst to join our team. The position is located at our San Francisco, CA office.
Duties and Responsibilities
·Administer independent retail needs by managing contacts, database setups,
on time reporting and general support questions.
·Manage Category Management projects through the population of excel
spreadsheet templates, and subsequent analysis and recommendations.
·Maintain quality service levels which result in retailer satisfaction.
·Manage Ad-hoc retailer reporting request.
·Provide Data access training, and fact measure training via on-line meeting
tools.
·Ability to engage retailers in SPINS data usage through the alignment of
existing retail business issues with available SPINS services.
·Ability to contact and recruit new retailers into our retail sample.
·Stay informed and aware of changing product industry trends and innovative
merchandising trends.
Requirments/Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business Administration/Finance. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may also serve to meet the minimum requirements. Grocery/Retail experience is helpful.
• Advanced user level in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Understanding of retail measurement services, fact measures and applications.
• Exceptional organization and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work with a wide range of user sophistication.
• Ability to work independently, while being proactive within established
goals.
• Natural products industry experience is a plus
