Relax the Back, a specialty retail store, is offering a permanent, part-time sales position in our Pleasanton store. Hours: Saturdays 10 AM – 6:00 PM, Sundays Noon – 5:00 PM, Mondays, 11AM – 7:00 PM. Additional hours and days may become available in the future.
Relax the Back provides innovative solutions for our clients’ back and neck pain, as well as chronic discomfort. We offer the highest quality products combined with the education needed for the care and maintenance of their health through proper posture while working, relaxing at home, sleeping, and traveling. Products include Tempur-Pedic mattresses, Zero Gravity Recliners, Ergonomic Office Chairs, Massage Chairs and other items designed to alleviate or prevent back and neck pain.
The potential employee will be trained on product information and Point-of-sale computer processing to assist clients. Requirements include ability to identify client needs, and problem-solving skills using the training that will be provided, and communicating product features and benefits. He/she will also be asked to perform store tasks, including stock receiving and processing; helping in maintaining the store’s upkeep and attractive appearance. He/she must be able to assist in lifting items weighing 45 pounds or more.
Retail experience is not required; however, a willingness to learn, communication skills, enthusiasm and positive team spirit are musts. Attendance, promptness, and proper dress codes are integral to the position.
