Overview:
As a Furniture Sales Associate at Macy’s, your opportunities are endless. While demonstrating excellent customer service skills, your duties are meeting and exceeding selling and express credit expectations, developing a regular clientele, providing production knowledge to our customers and working as a part of a team to meet individual department and store objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

• Providing excellent customer service in a fast paced environment
• Maintenance of department store visual and merchandising standards
• Shortage control and compliance procedures
• Sharing equally in responsibilities of the department as customer traffic allows
• Sales productivity

• Maintain and use client book.
• Follow up with customer issues

• Attend vendor training seminars

Skills Summary:
To be a successful Furniture Sales Associate it is imperative that you have strong interpersonal and communication skills, organizational skills and most importantly LOVE working with people. Furniture Sales Associates must have the ability to work on multiple projects while simultaneously servicing the customer. All Furniture Sales Associates must have prior furniture sales experience.
