Director. Recruited to operate a non-profit organization with the purpose of helping children with serious and often fatal skin disease. Support Camp Wonder, a medically-staffed summer camp for these children, raise money to fund medical research for improved treatment and possible cures, and organize social and educational events. Responsible for strategic and mission planning, procedure/program development, fundraising, grant writing, public relations, special event management and volunteer recruitment. Assignments required distilling complex material into accurate and understandable proposals and presentations. Efforts established a visible and impactful presence in the community.
* Reorganized and streamlined complex camp application process including tracking all liability and medical releases.
