Primo Espresso Company is an espresso equipment company based in San Ramon, Ca. We provide espresso equipment and service to retailers, restaurants and corporate offices throughout the bay area.
We have an immediate full-time opening for a Technician based out of our main warehouse in San Ramon, Ca. The position will provide troubleshooting support for all technical, electrical, & mechanical problems. Quality assurance in calibration, programming, and proper functioning of the equipment is important. This job also includes in-house bench testing of new equipment and field service to repair and service our equipment on-site (75%) throughout the Bay Area. Other warehouse duties may include shipping/receiving of machines and parts.
Qualified candidates should have the ability to communicate effectively in a technical manner and have diplomacy skills. Experience in repairing/servicing hot beverage equipment preferred. Prospective employees may also have experience in car stereo electrical installation or similar technical background.
Primary Responsibilities:
Technical phone support to service vendors and/or end users
Bench testing, calibrating & programming of equipment
Maintaining service logs
Packing/shipping machines and parts
Field service and repairs
Performing preventive maintenance and diagnostic repair of Primo Espresso Company equipment
Maintaining tools, parts, equipment, and supplies in clean and safe working order
Maintaining regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
Follows company vehicle maintenance guidelines and tracks maintenance records.

Electrical/Mechanical aptitude
Schematic comprehension
Accuracy and attention to detail
Written and verbal communication
Ability to balance multiple priorities & meet deadlines
Ability to perform basic electrical, mechanical & plumbing repairs
Ability to troubleshoot and conduct diagnostic repairs over the phone
Minimum 1 year related experience
