Well-established, award-winning (including Best of Marin 2006 and 2004), and growing design/build firm in San Rafael is seeking a designer or architect with a minimum of five years experience in designing residential kitchens and baths.
Other necessary experience and aptitudes required:
Be able to draft using AutoCAD (knowledge of Chief Architect a plus). Ability to draw construction details and create complete plan sets;
Be experienced in designing and specifying custom, factory-made cabinetry and built-ins;
Have enthusiasm, creativity and a love of good design of all types (CKD certification a plus);
Be personable, patient, a good listener, and willing and able to work through the design process with our clients, including visiting vendors with clients to choose materials such as stone, tile, lighting, flooring, and furnishings
Enjoy working in a team, using a positive, professional approach;
Be detail oriented, organized, and accurate.
